Whole wheat spaghetti with chicken, shrimp and sautéed veggies!

Recipes | May 28, 2015 | By

1/2 box whole wheat spaghetti, cooked and drained
1 blue container feta cheese
1 blue container grilled chicken
1 blue container shrimp
10-20 asparagus spears chopped
4 cherry tomatoes
salt and pepper and any other spices you like
1/2 tsp garlic
2 tsps coconut oil
1 tsp olive oil

Cook whole wheat spaghetti as directed on package. I break the spaghetti in half before boiling (makes it easier to portion out using the yellow containers)

While pasta is cooking sautée asparagus in 1 tsp of coconut oil on med heat for 3 minutes. I spiced with some salt and pepper. When there is 1 minute left on the clock, add 1/2 tsp of minced garlic and mix around. Once 3 minutes is done, throw in chopped up heirloom or cherry tomatoes and cook down for 1 more minute. Put aside in a bowl.

In the same pan used for sautéing add 2 more tsps coconut oil and cook diced chicken and cocktail shrimps for 2-3 minutes. I spiced the chicken with some onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Once pasta is done, toss in 1-2 tsps of olive oil, portion out and add chicken/shrimp and veggies on top. Add 1/2 blue of crumbled feta!

1 serving equals:  2 ❤️, 2 💚, 2 💛 and .5 💙
