Homemade Whole Wheat Italian Bread Crumbs
We made our own homemade whole wheat bread crumbs for a special recipe coming up soon but here’s the recipe for the breadcrumbs!
1 bag of whole wheat bread
Load bread onto baking sheets. Pre-heat oven to 400′. When ready, put trays in the oven for 10 minutes or until bread is nice and brown. Once finished, take trays out of the oven and let sit to harden further. We used our Blendtec to crumb up the bread, but a food processor would work as well. Blend until bread has crumbled. Pour into a bowl, add more Italian seasoning, mix, and voila, homemade breadcrumbs.
