For some reason I am not able to see the container counts. Would you be able to tell me what they are? Thank you 🙂
Nicky
March 30, 2019
Hi Ashley! It’s 1-2 greens, .5 blue and .25-.5 yellow per serving depending on how much milk you use!

I’m about to cry…. I’ve made this a million times. It’s my favorite cauli-fredo recipe, and now all the sudden the ingredients list is gone?!
Is this just an issue on my end? Is anyone else reporting this same issue? Was literally getting everything out to measure bc I was about to start prepping this sauce. Please help!

We really enjoyed this meal! It really hit the spot. We added a green container of broccoli for each serving into the mix while finishing the sauce and it was perfect! This meal will be repeated in our menu next week too!

I just made this last night and my two family members who hate cauliflower loved it! Told me to make it the same way again (I didn’t tell them what it was at first). I did use the chopped cubes of cauliflower that Walmart has and steamed it in the bag but loved the texture and the whole dish – have to double it next time for leftovers 🙂

I was very excited to try this, but once I tasted it, it was too much vinegar. My kids usually can handle the 21 day fix recipes but not this one and I don’t blame them!
Nicole
April 18, 2017
I’m excited to try this but I’ll use Bragg’s amino acids instead of soy sauce!!
Leslee
April 7, 2017
Does it have to be apple cider vinegar? Or cani use regular?
Püreatz
April 7, 2017
Hey Leslee, you can use regular but it won’t taste the same. The apple cider vinegar gives the tart/sweet flavor and regular vinegar won’t lend that tart flavor.

February 10, 2017
For the serving: is the red container just for the chicken? Would a yellow container be for the rice? New to 21 day fix, thanks!
Püreatz
February 10, 2017
Hey Tara! The red container would just be for the red. Rice would need to be counted as a yellow.

HI- So I just finished making this, it smells great however, mine is like water….like soup basically. What can I do differently next time that it is a sauce and not a soup?? Thank you!
Jessica

Can I make this without corn starch
Püreatz
January 17, 2017
Yes, but it will not thicken up. You need to use flour, or whole wheat flour or cornstarch in order for the sauce to thicken up.

Do you use a Green Container to measure it out with?
Püreatz

I really want to make these! Did you use liquid coconut oil of solid coconut oil??
Püreatz
November 30, 2016
You should try to use solid, which is easier during the winter months!

hey! this recipe looks so good. how could you adjust it to use a crock pot?
Püreatz
July 11, 2016
Hi Erin. Unfortunately this recipe cannot be adjusted for the Crock-Pot. The sauce is very thick, and would like end up burning it.

What is a serving size? Do you measure out one green or is it 1/4 of the pan?
Püreatz
May 11, 2016
It serves 8! It’s best to use a green container or cut 8 squares.
Kelli

April 14, 2016
1/4 cup serving = 2 green?
Püreatz
April 15, 2016
Yup! 1/4 to 1/2 cup is 2 greens. It’s mostly just cauliflower and its blended down so you get a lot of veggie in a small amount!
Dakota
April 5, 2016

March 15, 2016
Hi! I was wondering why no yellows! I thought that almond milk is considered a yellow! Thanks 🙂
Püreatz
March 15, 2016
Almond milk is considered a yellow if you got over a certain amount of ounces. Autumn has said that under 4 ounces is free, so this recipe wouldn’t be considered yellow 🙂

I’m looking for a “mayonnaise ” 21 day fix approved for tuna salad. Or can I use store bought olive oil mayonnaise.
Püreatz
March 15, 2016
No mayo! It’s not approved. I use greek yogurt and lemon juice in place for tuna and chicken salad.

February 2, 2016
Ok so how much is one serving? Like is it 1 red 1 yellow etc.

If you want to make these ahead of time what would be the best step to fridge/freeze at? (Before filling shells, baking, after done?)
Püreatz
September 9, 2015
Hey Kelly! I would make them and then freeze them, and then re-bake them until hot. I am not sure how they would turn out, but that’s the best bet!
Julie
September 4, 2015
Hey there! This sounds great but I’m trying to figure out what aspect of this accounts for the 1/2 a yellow container. Those yellows are like gold dust!
Püreatz
September 4, 2015
It’s because of the milk, but it is very minimal, so you don’t have to count it if you don’t want to. But that is the reason that it’s there.
Candace

Can I use oat flour instead of almond flour
Püreatz
September 1, 2015
I don’t see why not! Should work fine 🙂 Might be a bit of a different texture/look than the photo but should still rise and taste good!

Looking for your beginner work out guide. Could you send it to me please.
Holly
July 31, 2015
How are the servings measured?
Püreatz
August 2, 2015
Hi Holly, the recipe yields anywhere from 3-4 cups depending on how much cauliflower you use, so a serving is 1/4-1/2 cup!
Kelky
July 27, 2015
Does that freeze well. It’s just me so 12 serving would last a month. Even 1/2ing the recipe, I’d like to freeze the remaining sauce.
Püreatz
July 27, 2015
I don’t see why not! It should freeze just fine. The best way to freeze this actually would be to pour it into ice cube molds and then take 2-3 out each time you wanted to use it and thaw!!

July 1, 2015
Hey Kelly! Thank you so much 🙂 It was super yummy. The recipe makes 2 servings, so 1 piece of whole grain bread is 1 yellow 🙂 You just cut it in half diagonally to make 2 triangles!
Kelly
July 1, 2015
This looks great! What kind of bread do you use that allows you to have 2 slices count as 1yellow?
